WR Central is a unified platform for volunteers and employees of the Wonderroot Community Center to manage the daily operations of the center. The legacy systems currently used to manage the center are spread across different platforms, making it harder for information to be in a centralized location. This solution makes it possible to quickly perform multiple tasks without switching platforms.
During my time as a volunteer weekend manager, I saw some areas of opportunity for how the center was managed on a daily basis. In speaking with other volunteers, staff, and members, I was able to get a general idea of some of the inconveniences they experienced from their own perspectives. This platform is meant to address those concerns and improve the processes of finding member information, scheduling and record keeping.
